(NEW YORK) — E2 Northeast Motorsports Looks Forward to an Exciting Racing Season Despite Not Having a Primary Sponsor. On Feb. 16, 2018 E2 Northeast Motorsports ran its first official race in the Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) at Daytona. Scott Stenzel started the race in the team’s Chevrolet, marking his return to the NCWTS following a three-year hiatus. He came in 15th place at Daytona International Speedway.
The team will not race today in Atlanta. “Even though, one of our sponsors were unable to meet their financial commitment, we are in talks with some amazing companies that wish to be a part of history and we are excited about the future. We are thankful for our partners like Munchkins of Oz., who stand by us and support our efforts. We want to make strides, create jobs and offer opportunities for those who are looking to make a career out of motorsports,” stated Melissa Lebron, CEO of E2 Northeast Motorsports.
